Navigating Culture

A blog about cultural analysis

and anthropology in business,

art and everyday life

Welcome!

My name is Yanina, I’m a cultural analyst, anthropologist and experience researcher.

I have a huge passion for exploring cultures and the mysteries of everyday life: the ways we as humans think, experience things and express ourselves.

Mission

Cultural analysis and anthropology have given me a rather unique perspective on the world and taught me to view everything around me as enigmatic and curious, to always ask the question "why?" and to make exciting discoveries about seemingly trivial things. I've created this website to share that perspective, and to showcase how every aspect of our lives has a cultural dimension to it: whether in business, daily activities, or interaction with others.

Projects

Here are some examples of the cultural analysis projects I've been involved in over the past few years. Through these case studies, you can get a sense of how cultural analysis and anthropology can be put into practice and applied to a wide range of fields, from business and design to UX, urban planning, art, storytelling, travel, and everyday life.
